Information for Sponsors

ICML is deeply grateful to our sponsors who provide funds that help ensure the continued success of the conference, while also making attendance and participation more affordable for graduate students.  For sponsors, the conference is an extraordinary recruiting opportunity.  With logo displays, exhibition booths, and general good will, sponsorship can provide a targeted opportunity for tech companies, publishers and others to reach the vast international machine learning community at a top-tier conference.

 We invite general sponsors for ICML 2017 at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond levels, with detailed information available upon request.  For further information, please contact us at sponsorship2017@icml.cc.  We would be delighted to hear from you.

Diamond $100,000 USD

Our highest-level supporters will be highlighted as Diamond-level sponsors and have a 20’ x 20’ exhibition space with a preferred location. Sponsors at this level will have access to the list of attendees who have opted in to be contacted about recruiting, and as a special new perk will have a dedicated room for interviews during the conference. This level of sponsorship comes with eight (8) free registrations for the conference, tutorials, and workshops. As an additional bonus, a selection of the travel grants awarded to students will be named after the Diamond- level sponsors.

Platinum $50,000 USD

At the second-highest level of contribution, supporters will be highlighted as Platinum-level sponsors and have a 20’ x 10’ booth with a preferred location. Sponsors at the Platinum level will have access to the list of attendees who have opted in to be contacted about recruiting. This level also comes with four (4) free registrations for the conference, tutorials, and workshops.

Gold $25,000 USD

At this level of contribution, supporters will be highlighted as Gold-level sponsors and have a 10’ x 10’ exhibitor booth. Sponsors at the Gold level will have access to the list of attendees who have opted in to be contacted about recruiting. This level comes with three (3) free registrations for the conference, tutorials, and workshops.

Silver $15,000 USD

At this level of contribution, supporters will be highlighted as Silver-level sponsors and have access to the list of attendees who have opted in to be contacted about recruiting. This level comes with one (1) free registration for the conference, tutorials, and workshops. (The Silver level does not include a booth.)

Bronze $10,000 USD

At this level of contribution, supporters will be highlighted as Bronze-level sponsors. This level comes with one (1) free registration for the conference, tutorials, and workshops. (The Bronze level does not include a booth.)

Information Required to Apply for Sponsorship

To start the application, we need to gather some information up front.  When you are ready, please hit the "Go to Your Information" button to begin.

  1. Your PO number. After you complete the application, you may send yourself an invoice from NIPS.cc for the amount of the sponsorship. If you need that invoice to have a PO number from your company on it, then you will need that PO number in step 3, the application.
  2. Branding.  Our sponsor page highlights your company logo, provides a link to your website, and displays a paragraph about your company.  You will be asked for each of these in various steps.
  3. Vector logo. We need a high-quality vector version of your logo in .pdf, .ai, or .svg format. This logo may be enlarged for a sponsor poster, so it is important that it be a high-quality image in vector format.
  4. Payment. Sponsorship payment is due by June 22. You will receive an invoice during step 4.

Venue Information

Setup and Tear Down

Your booth number is used for ordering and shipping purposes.  Booth assignments are not given out before the meeting.

You may exhibit the entire week of ICML; but you must move in on Saturday, August 5th.

Move in on Saturday, August 5, 2017 between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.   You need to be on site to have any shipped items from the loading dock moved to your booth on the 5th. Since the 5th is a Saturday, your goods will need to arrive during the week and be stored. See section 8 on Shipping and Customs below for more information on having freight forwarder store and retrieve your goods. 

Move out on Friday, August 11th, 2017 between 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. Coordinate directly with  (contact information below).

Exhibitor hours:  Sunday,  August 6th, 9:00 am - 8:00  pm, Monday - Wednesday, August 7th - 9th from 9:00am - 5:30 pm.    These are suggested times; you can decide what works best for you.

The venue will have WiFi available, but if you need reliable or fast internet, please order a wired either connection.

Exhibitor Badges

Each person at your booth will need a badge to get into the exhibitor area. An Exhibitor Badge is free but only grants access to the exhibitor area and not the meeting itself. Exhibitor badges should be given to the staff who will be manning your tables.  Please enter the email addresses of those needing an exhibitor badge and press Submit Exhibitor Badges. Repeat for each person.
